Taiwan Proposes Additional GHS Classifications

In October 2013, the Council of Labor Affairs (CLA), of the Executive Yuan, proposed a list of substances for the third stage of Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS) implementation.

The third stage list contains 1,022 substances.  Previously, the first stage was made up of 1,062 substances, and the second stage was comprised of 1,089 substances. These substances, along with their mixtures, are required to comply with the Regulation of Labelling and Hazard Communication of Dangerous and Harmful Materials.
