Posted on: April 21, 2017

Safeware Quasar is pleased to announce that SafeCom, the UK’s largest chemical regulatory conference, has officially sold out for this year. The event will take place on 11th May 2017 at Eastwood Hall Hotel and Conference Centre in Nottinghamshire, UK.

The popular conference, which is now in its fourteenth consecutive year, will host over 150 delegates from all over the world and welcomes a panel of leading industry and regulatory experts who will be presenting on a number of key topics from the world of regulatory compliance. In addition, SafeCom also features a trade exhibition, where industry suppliers will showcase the latest services and products available to achieve chemical regulatory compliance with accuracy and efficiency.

A wide and diverse agenda sees regulatory authorities and other industry experts share their knowledge, experience and perspectives to provide attendees with essential practical information and advice to understand and confidently manage compliance with chemical regulations both now and into the future.

The conference will be chaired by Safeware Quasar’s technical director Simon Robinson, and will feature an illustrious line-up of speakers, including top representatives from ECHA, HSE, UL and more. Full details of all of the SafeCom 2017 speakers can be found here.

The event also features the SafeCom pre-conference dinner, held at the venue on the evening of the 10th May 2017, which provides a valuable networking opportunity for attendees to engage with peers, stakeholders and industry experts.

SafeCom chairman Simon Robinson said: “We are delighted to announce that SafeCom 2017 has now sold out. Our team put in a tremendous amount of work to create an event that not only improves year-on-year, but is also carefully tailored to meet the delegates’ needs both now and into the future. This therefore makes it crucial for people involved in the industry to attend SafeCom.”

More information about SafeCom can be found on the official website, where you can also subscribe to the SafeCom newsletter to be kept up to date with plans for next year’s event.

Further Support & Training

In addition to SafeCom, we also host regular training courses designed to help organisations stay up to date with regulatory developments and sustain chemical compliance, and are pleased to announce that dates have just been confirmed for our brand new Safety Data Sheet Authoring Training Course. This unique one day course has been developed to provide attendees with a comprehensive understanding of the legal requirements that must be considered when creating REACH Annex II compliant safety data sheets (SDSs).
