REACH-IT has been updated introducing new terms and conditions that address the chain of communication between ECHA and companies, and additionally enabling the submission of applications for authorisation via REACH-IT.
Anyone logging into the application will be required to accept the new terms and conditions to access their company account. An example of an addition to the terms and conditions is that if a message from ECHA is read/opened by a user within an organisation, the company has then legally received the notification.
REACH-IT users are encouraged to assign a regular contact, regularly log into their accounts to check for messages and to delete obsolete accounts.
A new version of IUCLID has also launched to coincide with this update and adapts the software to correspond in accordance with the fourth revision of the CLP Regulation.
